CASE STUDIES & EVIDENCE

A real problem. Evidence worth examining.

Independent research informs the opportunity. No Vytaris customer case studies or clinical outcomes have been provided; the use cases below describe the proposed approach.

PUBLISHED RESEARCH • NOT A VYTARIS DEPLOYMENT

Remote monitoring in primary-care hypertension.

A 2023 prospective matched cohort study compared 288 patients prescribed remote physiological monitoring with 1,152 matched controls across six primary-care practices.

71.5% vs 58.1%

Blood pressure control at 12 months (below 140/90 mmHg): monitoring cohort vs controls.

132.3 vs 136.5

Mean systolic blood pressure in mmHg at 12 months: monitoring cohort vs controls.

This observational study shows an association, not proof that monitoring alone caused the difference. Care workflows and patient populations affect outcomes. These results do not establish Vytaris's effectiveness.

PROPOSED CARE USE CASES

Hypertension between visits

The gap: Home readings often remain in a notebook or a separate device app.

Our proposed approach: Bring cuff readings into a shared timeline, flag sustained changes against clinician-configured thresholds and route them for review.

Pilot measures: reading completeness, actionable alert rate and time to clinical review.

Diabetes with caregiver support

The gap: Glucose patterns can be difficult for families to interpret, particularly when care is shared.

Our proposed approach: Combine compatible glucose data with trend context and consent-based caregiver notifications; medication decisions remain with the care team.

Pilot measures: device coverage, alert acknowledgement and clinician-assessed usefulness.
